“It Begins At Home” - Key Issues In Capitalisation Of Evaluation Results And Their Application To Cern
Key Issues papers are discussion papers covering areas of concern, areas presenting evaluation challenges or problems.
A theme running through these papers is the relationship between evaluation and VET policy. They have been used to broaden understanding of problems and good practice in evaluation.
For example, one of the papers, "A Framework for the Evaluation of E-learning", looks at the issues and problems of evaluating e-learning and different approaches that have been taken.The STOAS presentation is looking at challenges for evaluation in enabling policy learning.
The capitalisation paper from Nexus looks at conceptualising the capitalisation process to enable more effective capitalisation to take place. This involves filtering the results of evaluation to determine which areas are appropriate for capitalisation and negotiating these areas with policy makers to generate realistic and achievable recommendations.
